IO Interactive was established in September 1998 and
bought by “Tomb Raider” publisher Eidos in 2004. Eidos is
one of the leading publishers and developers of
entertainment software in the world.
More than 200 employees from 23 different countries work
in IO Interactive offices in the center of Copenhagen
currently creating different titles and developing new
IOI-technologies. IO Interactive works closely with other
Eidos studios. The network also includes high profile
technology companies such as Microsoft, Intel, Nvidia and
Sony, besides a long list of universities and art schools.
The Io Interactive Technology Development Team consists
of programmers, software engineers and mathematicians
with considerable experience in game programming and
3D graphics. Graphic designers, artists and animators are
recruited from the game and entertainment industry as
well as art schools.
