I am a cinematic animator. My goal is to create seamless, dramatic, and memorable experiences for players who love to play and immerse themselves in another worlds. I love to collaborate with both technical and artistically talented people in the studio. My main contribution lies in refining captured motion and implementing it into the game engine. It is a challenging job with many areas of interest, so I enjoy it. I also participate in research and development, which brings everything we do to another level!
I am an expat and often end up where my intuition, passions and circumstances lead me. I am quite introverted, enjoy company of a small group of friends, a silent room, and a well-lit spa. I love to study what unites and divides us, which is mostly food and money. I am fascinated by the mind and technology, and how we use both to torture ourselves. Overall, a fun guy.
Beauty, joy, pain, the everyday. Creativity of others. Our ability to build from nothing. Our struggle to keep civilization safe from evil. People helping each other. Animals and the natural world as it keeps on evolving without us. If I can tell stories about these topics, I am hopeful that I can keep inspiration alive.
I can only guess it has something to do with escapism and how powerful it can be for me and people that need it. Video games is the most fascinating medium out there and we have only scratched the surface of its potential. I enjoy being part of that exploration.
I write a bit, research, and travel. My project is to be excited about the next day, the next year, the next decade. I try to improve myself and help along the way. My biggest project is to keep my apartment tidy and cozy. Why do you think I moved to Sweden?!
My first three months. Summer in the air. A big group of people to talk to. Getting acquainted with the tools. A huge project to tackle. And finally, a week of jamming during IOI week and that party afterwards. So much energy.
Take it one step at a time.
I don’t always do so myself, but it helps me to bring everything down to earth. It (mostly) kept me out of trouble. My biggest lesson? Don’t forget to look into the mirror and eat well. Grow into the step.
